Position responsibilities include:
· Support and consult with the classroom teacher regarding ways to modify instruction and materials for students with learning and/or behavioral disabilities and other handicapping conditions.
· Provide specially designed instruction to assist students in the acquisition of skills and knowledge necessary to achieve the goals of the Individual Education Plan (IEP), as well as the State Benchmark Standards.
· Ensure that all district, state, and federal guidelines regarding pre-referrals (SST), referrals, testing, recordkeeping, and service delivery for students with disabilities are strictly followed.
· Develop a positive working relationship with students, staff, administration, parents, and community.
· Maintain professional confidentiality concerning individual students’ data and achievement.
Salary: $49,684-100,998*
* Actual TBD upon experience verification and pro-rated by start date.
3% of salary stipend per SEA contract
Contract: Remainder of the 24-25 school year, + 5 Extended Contract Days
